We were asked to assist a prominent family in the Philippines with the development of a solar farm. Upon getting involved in the project it was clear that our role would require us to take over the entire development of the project and also negotiations on the PPA. We successfully developed the solar farm from greenfield right through to achieving the service contract. We were also able to maximise the total capacity on the land available to increase the project capacity to 180 MW. We advised and led negotiation on the PPA for 750 MW across multiple projects. The project is due to be constructed in 2020 and contains a substantial battery component to help with the requirements of the province.
